- Phone Number Format: a new Phone screen was added and is available in OIPA on the Client screen, Group Customer screen, Address screen and Group Customer Address screen. A new PhoneScreen business rule was added to support the screen. Security was also added through the use of a new Phone page in Company Pages security.
- Masking: masking allows the format of information input by a user to be controlled and the resulting display of that information to appear on screen according to configuration. It also allows part or all of the user input to be hidden from view for security purposes.
- Mask Security Levels: security levels are defined in AsCodeMaskSecurityLevel. This code name can be edited in the Rules Palette through the Code Names editor. The security levels determine the
- Mask Editor: a Mask Editor is available in Admin Explorer, where mask inputs and outputs are defined.
- Mask DataType: A new datatype for text fields was added. When a field is defined with this datatype, a mask can be applied to the information added to the field by the user. The masks available in the Field Properties row for Masks are defined in the Mask editor.
- Segments: A segment can use the Mask datatype for text fields that are added to the screen configuration.
- Table configuration: A mask datatype is also available for tables configured in screen rules. The configuration must be done through the XMLSource Pane.
- Security: A new collapsible Mask section is available for all screen Company Pages. Transaction security also contains a collapsible Mask section. The new section lists every mask configured in that screen or transaction. When no mask has been configured for a specific screen, the pane will have no data to display. Each mask has an associated drop down, which is populated with a list of the mask levels for the configured mask.
